Notes from “Parents of Teens” Meeting, January 31, 2005
On Monday Jan. 31 we had our first "Parent Support Group" gathering at Vernon Youth Services. Our guests were professionals in the field on adolescence. It was a great opportunity as parents to share our concerns about our RHS teens and the challenges and struggles bringing up teens in today's world. We also were able to share positive ideas and give support to one another.
Our April meeting will focus on how to keep our teens safe during Prom and Graduation time.
We hope you will able to join us and bring a friend. Don't wait till you have a problem with your teen, be proactive in keeping them on the right track.
